Take a look at these natural remedies that have provided some relief for others... - - Sandalwood powder- Add a few drops of water to half a tablespoon of Sandalwood powder. Apply to acne blemishes. Be very careful around your eyes. Let the paste dry and then rinse.
- - You can make a natural acne treatment facial scrub with almond meal and lemon rind. Mix 2 tablespoons almond meal, 1 tablespoon ground lemon rind and 3 to 4 tablespoon milk. Gently scrub your face. You will find that this scrub gets rid of the excess oil on your face.
- - Try a clay mask. Just mix 2 tablespoons of green clay with 2 drops of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of yogurt and 2 drops of lavender oil. add just enough water to make a nice thick paste. Gently apply the paste to your face. Avoid the area around your eyes. Let the paste dry and then rinse. A clay mask has deep cleansing properties and can be effective for oily skin.
- - Here is a good skin conditioner for oily skin that can help with acne and eczema. Mix 2 to 3 drops of cedarwood and sandalwood oil. Gently massage the oil over facial skin. You'll find this combination has a very soothing effect on your skin.
- - Here's another face mask- Take the white of one egg. Mix the egg white with 2 tablespoon clay/kaolin, 1 tablespoon oats, 1 tablespoon cornflower and enough rose water to make a paste. Then add lavender oil or juniper berry oil. Mix well. Apply over your facial skin. Avoid your eyes. Let it dry and rinse. The result?... Soft, oil-free skin.
